How do I deploy IOblend?
IOblend DataOps can be deployed in two ways: Local (Dev) and Production
Local machine deployment is best suited for dataflow development. IOblend ships with a containerised Spark environment, so it works out of the box – no need for developers, analysts and data scientists to build local Spark environments. The software connects to the client’s data systems via the existing security protocols – no data is ever exposed externally
For production, IOblend Engine is installed in your Cloud or on-prem environment as either a Linux container or directly into your Spark infrastructure such as
as well as on-prem Spark infrastructure. The Linux image contains all the essential IOblend dataflow components within. The user can easily interact and run dataflows from within the Cloud to any external systems
Does IOblend have a steep learning curve?
NO! We have built IOblend to be very easy to use even by the non-specialists. The platform is no-code and only needs you to use SQL for your business transformations. Everything else is automated – just point and click
Yes, IOblend supports all Cloud providers and databases. You can even use multiple Clouds simultaneously if your estate already utilises several Clouds in your architecture. It will also easily connect via JDBC to both Snowflake and Databricks

What data sources does IOblend support?

What does IOblend use for the application of the business logic?
The vast majority of your business logic can be handled with SQL – just type your code in the transform window or paste your existing logic from another editor. For the remaining, more complex transforms, we have provided a simple Python template to take care of that – no transformation is impossible!
Can I output the data directly to my analytical models?
