01

Our commitment

Responsible by design.

Connect.IO Ltd has zero tolerance for slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, human trafficking, child labour or other forms of exploitation within our own operations or, so far as reasonably practicable, within our supply chain.

Connect.IO Ltd does not currently meet the statutory turnover threshold requiring an annual statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We nevertheless publish this statement voluntarily as part of our commitment to responsible business practices, transparent supply-chain governance and public-sector procurement.

Business model

A UK software and professional-services business operating predominantly through digital and remote delivery.

Operations

No manufacturing, warehouse, logistics operation or permanent company-controlled office.

Delivery

Software, documentation and professional services are principally delivered electronically.

Infrastructure

No company-operated physical data centre or physical product distribution network.

02

Our supply chain

A technology-led supply chain.

Our third-party supply chain principally relates to the normal requirements of operating a software and professional-services business.

  • Software and SaaS providers
  • Cloud and technology infrastructure providers
  • Telecommunications and internet services
  • Professional and business services
  • Travel and accommodation providers
  • IT equipment and electronics suppliers
Risk does not stop with our direct suppliers.

We recognise that extended international supply chains associated with electronics, technology hardware, facilities, logistics and other purchased services may carry modern-slavery risks. Our approach is proportionate and risk-based.

03

Risk and due diligence

Proportionate supplier scrutiny.

Based on the nature of our operations, we currently assess the direct modern-slavery risk within Connect.IO Ltd as low. We recognise, however, that risk may exist further down technology and service supply chains.

For material new suppliers and relationships presenting elevated risk, Connect.IO Ltd may consider:

  • Supplier location and operating sector
  • Nature of the workforce and supply-chain complexity
  • Published human-rights or modern-slavery policies and statements
  • Relevant certifications, codes of conduct or supplier standards
  • Known regulatory or ethical concerns
  • Willingness to address identified concerns
04

Public-sector supply chains

Prepared to support proportionate due diligence.

Where required by a public-sector contract or procurement process, Connect.IO Ltd will cooperate with proportionate modern-slavery risk assessment and due-diligence requirements.

  • Provide relevant supply-chain information
  • Respond to modern-slavery questionnaires and declarations
  • Cooperate with reasonable due-diligence requests
  • Review relevant subcontractors where applicable
  • Implement proportionate corrective action where a genuine risk is identified
05

Responding to concerns

Escalate, investigate and remedy.

If we become aware of credible evidence of modern slavery or serious labour exploitation within our operations or supply chain, we will assess the circumstances promptly.

  • Engage with the supplier and request further information
  • Require corrective action and review the supplier relationship
  • Escalate to appropriate authorities or specialist organisations where necessary
  • Reconsider or terminate a relationship where serious concerns cannot be satisfactorily addressed

Our priority is to support an appropriate response to the underlying issue rather than take action that could inadvertently increase risks to affected workers.

06

Governance and review

Managed directly by senior leadership.

Responsibility for modern-slavery risk rests with senior management. The CEO has overall responsibility for ensuring that the principles in this statement are reflected in our operations and material supplier relationships.

Modern-slavery awareness is managed through senior management oversight and proportionate internal controls. We will review this statement annually and strengthen our processes where appropriate as our operations, supplier relationships and risk profile evolve.
